Accessibility & Sustainability

Accessibility at Grange Farm Park: Inclusive Comfort for All

At Grange Farm Park, we are dedicated to ensuring that every guest enjoys a comfortable and accessible stay. Our inclusive approach allows everyone, regardless of mobility, to experience the beauty and tranquillity of our holiday park.

Accessible Accommodation

Our accessible properties are thoughtfully designed with your comfort and convenience in mind. These rooms feature spacious wet rooms equipped with grab rails and a shower chair ensuring safety and ease of use. Additionally, 13 of our properties have no steps, ensuring easy access for all guests, with most properties having private car parking spaces alongside them.

Wheelchair-Friendly Facilities

Our commitment to accessibility extends beyond our properties. The Stables Bar & Restaurant is fully wheelchair accessible, with wide entrances and smooth pathways leading into the dining area. We also offer a large wheelchair-accessible toilet, disabled parking close to key facilities, and a recently relocated fire assembly point for improved accessibility. Whether you’re joining us for a meal, an event, or simply to relax, our facilities are designed to accommodate everyone.

Supporting Our Local Community

Our community commitment includes partnerships that promote inclusivity. We work closely with the Maximising Independence Team at Adult Care and Community Wellbeing at Lincolnshire County Council. Through this partnership, we proudly employ Jade, a lovely lady who helps prep food in the kitchen every Saturday morning under the guidance of our wonderful chef, Sarah.

At Grange Farm Park, we believe that everyone deserves a relaxing and memorable stay. That’s why we continually strive to remove barriers and create an environment that is welcoming and accessible for all.

Sustainability at Grange Farm Park: Caring for Our Community and Environment

At Grange Farm Park, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. Our dedication to supporting the local community and protecting the environment is evident in all aspects of our operations:

A Family-Run Park with Deep Roots

Grange Farm Park is a true family affair, with three generations actively involved in the daily running of the park. Our family’s commitment extends beyond the immediate relatives, with many family members participating in work experience and contributing to the park’s success. Our new office apprentice is the partner of one of the grandchildren, while our two bar managers are brothers, and their mother is our Head Housekeeper. Our Park Ranger and Office Manager are married and lifelong friends of the owners, whose daughters spent every summer at the park and now return with their own children, who help out whenever needed. This strong family bond ensures that Grange Farm Park remains a warm, welcoming, and close-knit community.

Investing in Our Local Community

Our greatest asset is our dedicated team. Grange Farm Park proudly employs over 20 local staff, most of whom live within 10 miles of the park. We are committed to nurturing local talent through training and career development, fostering a loyal and close-knit team. Our commitment to the community also extends to sourcing local food and beverages, ensuring our operations benefit our neighbours and reflect our Lincolnshire heritage.

Prioritizing Energy Efficiency

We continuously implement energy-efficient practices across our park. From double-glazing in all our properties and central heating, ensuring comfort while minimising energy consumption, to using air-source heat pumps in all Glamping Pods and hot tubs as well as harnessing solar energy for our in-house laundry facility, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint. Our laundry practices also minimize plastic use, further supporting our sustainability goals. We focus on recycling, with maintenance checking that waste is correctly separated in our bin area. To further reduce waste, we are digitally focused, minimising paper use wherever possible.

Enhancing and Protecting Our Natural Landscape

Our 15-acre grounds are a haven for both people and wildlife. Under the care of our dedicated maintenance team and our green-thumbed founder, Ann, we continuously plant trees and flowers to enrich the natural environment, with water butts dotted around the park to water them regularly. Buddleia trees are planted to attract butterflies and bees, and our nature reserve on the north bank provides a sanctuary for an array of wildlife. Ann’s greenhouse supplies fresh flowers for table decorations, reducing our reliance on external sources and further lowering our carbon footprint.

Creating a Wildlife Sanctuary

Grange Farm Park is home to a rich variety of wildlife, including birds, mammals, insects, and invertebrates. We work closely with local experts to manage and protect these habitats. Guests can spot an array of wildlife, from Canada Geese, Red Kites, and Owls to Hedgehogs, Dragonflies, and even a nesting Kestrel. Our free-range chickens, guinea pigs, ferrets, abundance of fish (we have a feeding spot/fish food available), and farm dogs (two of whom were born on park) contribute to the charm and sustainability of our park, creating a balanced ecosystem that delights both guests and animals.

Grange Farm Park is more than just a holiday retreat—it’s a community deeply committed to sustainable living. Here, guests can immerse themselves in the beauty of nature, knowing their stay contributes to a brighter, greener future.
